Follow Up Therapeutic Massage

The masseter, temporalis, pterygoid, and surrounding muscles play a crucial role in jaw movement and mastication (chewing). However, stress, poor posture, past injuries, structural imbalances, and habits like grinding and clenching can contribute to temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction. This often leads to headaches, pain, discomfort, and muscle tightness. 

Clenching and grinding are particularly common, occurring during sleep, habit, or as a reaction to stress. The repetitive pressure places excessive strain on the TMJ, creating muscle imbalances and uneven tension. 

This treatment blends specialized massage therapy techniques, including Indian Head Massage, intra-oral TMJ work, buccal and masseter release, and RAPID. By addressing deep-seated tension, improving circulation, and promoting relaxation, it helps restore natural movement and overall well-being.
